I am exhausted.
Although I have just ended the "third" official day of flight attendant class, I feel as if I have been here in Chicago for weeks. I flew in Sunday afternoon.
Thus far, the experience has been wonderful. I am meeting a lot of great people, friendly instructors, and I am very excited about the course material.
The days are very long - often starting at 6 AM for wakeup, class starting at 7 AM and not getting out until 6 PM. After, we have loads of homework assignments that call for computer based learning, reading, and preparing ourselves for class in the morning, hence the exhaustion.
Yes, a short little update. I moved away from San Jose last Wednesday. Was at home for a few days and flew out Sunday. I'll be here until mid-November.
I definitely feel this is a right fit for me at this time and it feels so good to be able to say that. Although sleepy in the morning, I am very excited to go to class and very eager to learn.
I already have my first training flight scheduled for next week - a quick jaunt to Newark, NJ and back to Chicago.
It's beginning!

Hey Jason you might remember me from last year. I'm Matt Boeckman's girlfriend. Just wanted to say hi. I've rejoined the world of blogging and found you through Andrew Venegas. How do you know that fool? Anyway, have fun with your training and good luck!!
