Whoa. What? Why am I talking about SJSU? Didn't I already graduate? Yes, I have, but I did move back to San Jose just three weeks after I originally had left. My lack of absence on the blog has been partly due to me not having a personal computer any more (it died when I moved out in June) nothing much of interest to report and my confusion on what I should and should not say on a blog and whether it can have an effect on my employment search.
I am back though, in San Jose, working again as an Assistant Residential Life Coordinator in Campus Village, but this time, building C, also known as "the Suites," seven stories of frosh students. Lovely. The move back was quick. I did not anticipate coming back, but the flight attendant position did not open up a training date until January and I needed to work. This was the best option at the time.
Summer did not exist. I worked here until mid-June, moved out, flew out to Chicago twice for interviews and then moved back to San Jose to pick up where I left off. Now the residents are back and it is quite odd. Vomit. Alcohol violations. Angry parents. The same issues, different students. It's old.
I was going to be taking a Spanish class for fun; but that is not going to work out, as my time in San Jose will be cut shorter than originally expected. Training for the flight attendant job will be starting sooner than later.
This also leaves me to question what is the next direction of focus I would like to blog about. I have contemplated removing it all together, especially since my original purpose of this space was to publish photos. I have now moved to using exclusively flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jfithian) to publish and achieve my photos. The site works better for this purpose and allows people to download the full-res files too.
During my original interview for the flight attendant position, I signed a confidentiality agreement to not discuss the process. I have also read about employees (not only flight attendants) who have blogged and have been fired for it. I guess once the whole thing begins, we'll see what I can and cannot report about. The only thing I know for certain; I'm excited to start this new career!

Jason!
I heard from Ashley about the great news! Awesome buddy, I'm glad to hear it worked out. So do you know where you'll be stationed out of?
